Struggling with difficult people and offenses??? The Bait of Satan
September 18, 2012–December 18, 2012, 6:45pm–8:30pm
This event is over.
The Bait of Satan is about learning to overcome bitterness. It is about learning to deal with offenses, and forgive the person who has offended you. An offended person is one who has “taken offense” when someone mistreated them in some way. This may also include offended people who believe they were mistreated when they were not.
Come join us for an interesting study into one of Satan’s oldest tricks to get between you and God....the Spirit of Offense.
John Bevere's study based on Luke 17:1 - "It is impossible that no offenses will come" is a study that can be used for continuing any of the Life Study small groups, Marriage related classes or Divorce Care, etc... as it specifically targets how do deal with Bitterness, Unforgivingness, Offense and Betrayal and escaping the victim mentality that sometimes accompany these battles.
Don't be fooled, you will encounter offense in every aspect of your life, its up to you how you're going to deal with it and how you're going to let it affect your relationship with God and others in your life. You can stay free from offense.
If you know of anyone that can benefit from this study, please forward their information to us so we can invite them.
Please see Julie Hiott for details or visit the LP website.
The class is held at the Long Point Campus on Tuesday nights from 6:45 to 8:30 in the Attic.
