Posted Mar. 12th, 2012My husband and I got married and moved to SC in November. He is in the NAVY and is currently stationed here. I've always known the Lord but have never been a truly religious person. Once my husband started school he was gone all day and I hardly ever saw him. It was very hard on me. I always listened to secular music and started getting depressed. I knew I needed to listen to something different to boost my mood one day so I started flipping channels and landed on this one. I haven't changed it back yet. You have no idea how much you guys have helped me. My husband and my relationship is improved, my mood is uplifted, and my relationship with God has improved incredibly. Thank you for all you're doing and at this point, I don't know where I'd be without you.

Posted Jan. 25th, 2012In March of 2010 we were released from the USMC and we have been struggle to find jobs and to support our 2 children. My husband goes to school at night with the GI Bill and I stay at home take care of the kids. I have Marfan Syndrome so with my health I'm not able to work. We have been living in touch times since we move from San Diego, CA to Charleston. We pray everyday to God to show us the way and help others if we can. Seeing the children on Compassion's website just broke my heart and I really want to give, because GOD for a reason connected us to your radio show and is keeping our faith through these tough times. I'll talk to my husband about it and then as a family we will speak of sponsoring a child. My children love to help others, as do we. When I heard the story on WAY-FM about the children it made me sick and want to make a difference in a child's life. I just cried. I want to help. So please pray for us.

Posted Sep. 14th, 2011We lost our house last July to a horrific fire... As we stood outside watching our house burn down, hugging our kids close my husband backed the car out of the driveway so the flames wouldn't reach our car... Our radio was set to Way-FM... At 1:30 in the morning, as we lost all our worldly possessions.. Watched as our house was destroyed... Chris Tomlin's "Our God its Greater" came on the radio...
My then 4 year old buried her face in my neck so she wouldn't have to see the flames & began singing "Our God is greater, our God is stronger..."
That song became our family motto that night. In the time since the fire as we've had to start from scratch & have been humbled in every way possible we look to Way-FM as a constant source of encouragement & great music that as a parent I'm happy to share with my children.
We support Way-FM & are thankful for the ministry they provide! :)
