Women who Request by Prayer RETREAT
The SC Baptist State Convention will host its Region 3 "Women who Request by Prayer" Women's Prayer Retreat which will be held on April 9th & 10th, 2010 at Summerville Baptist Church in Summerville, South Carolina. It is a statewide prayer retreat for women where we will learn how to request of God in prayer through Teaching Sessions and immediately put into practice what is learned by actually praying in Prayer Closet Sessions. "Regional Women's Prayer Retreat"
"Regional Women's Prayer Retreat" April 9 and 10 at Summerville Baptist Church. One of four prayer retreats in the state this year is it planned by local women in collaboration with the SC Baptist Convention. Registration check in begins at 3 pm on Friday The retreat will be from 4:30 pm until 9 pm on Friday. Saturday's schedule begins at 9 am and continues until 5 pm. There is a nominal registration fee of $50.00 which includes study materials, dinner Friday evening, and lunch on Saturday. Registration deadline is March 26, 2010.

The Lowcountry Walk to Defeat ALS tm
The Lowcountry Walk to Defeat ALS tm will be held at Riverfront Park in North Charleston, on the former Charleston Naval Base. Registration is at 8:30 a.m. and the Walk begins at 10 a.m. The 5K walk is open to the public. All funds raised will be donated to The ALS Association South Carolina Chapter, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to finding the cause & cure of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. The funds support local community-based patient services programs and national cutting-edge research.
