DivorceCare: Surviving the Holidays" is a helpful, encouraging seminar for people facing the holidays after a separation or divorce. Please join us or refer a friend or family member on Saturday, November 21, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Summerville Baptist Church, 417 Central Avenue, Summerville. Child care is available with a reservation. There's only a $5 fee for this event and scholarships are available. First Thanksgiving Celebration Hosted by Charleston Harbor Bible Church
Families looking for a unique way to commemorate Thanksgiving are invited to a celebration at Peaceful Way that promises to go beyond the stuffed turkey and mashed potatoes.
Guests can participate in a wide range of events including a petting zoo, period games, black powder rifle shoot, crafts and horse shoeing.
Main dishes will be provided. Guests are encouraged to bring a side dish and pie to share. Period costumes are welcome.
